Question 1

What is the difference between QRC-721 and QRC-1155?

Accepted Answer

Both are QRL 2.0 NFT standards (the EVM ERC-721 and ERC-1155 equivalents). In a QRC-721 collection every item is unique and has exactly one owner. A QRC-1155 contract can issue many units of the same item id, so one item can have many holders, each with a quantity — and several items can move in one batch transfer.

Question 2

How is the current owner of a token determined?

Accepted Answer

From the on-chain transfer log: the recipient of a token's most recent transfer is its current owner. A token whose last transfer sent it to the zero address has been burned and has no owner.

Question 3

Why is there no collection name or image?

Accepted Answer

Names and symbols come from the contract's optional metadata, which isn't always present. Artwork lives at an off-chain URL the deployer chose; Quantascan never loads or hosts it, and shows it only as a link on each item's page. Anyone can give a contract any name, so a collection is identified by its contract address unless Quantascan has curated it.

Question 4

Where can I see all transfers and mints?

Accepted Answer

Per-token provenance is on each token's page. Collection-wide activity is on the NFT transfers and NFT mints feeds.
