Biggest transaction is the value of the single largest native coin transfer on each day, drawn as one continuous line. Spikes flag notable large moves — exchange rebalances, whale transfers, treasury movements. It complements the flow charts by showing the size of the largest individual event rather than an aggregate.

FAQ about this chart
Common questions about this page+
What does the biggest transaction chart show?
The value of the single largest native coin transfer confirmed on each day. It captures the size of the biggest individual move, which the aggregate flow charts can hide — a day with modest total volume can still contain one very large transfer.
What's excluded?
Token transfers (which carry token amounts, not native coin) and coinbase block rewards (which are protocol issuance, not user transfers) are excluded, so the chart reflects genuine native value moving between wallets.
What causes a spike?
A single very large transfer — typically an exchange moving cold-wallet funds, a whale repositioning, or a treasury/foundation movement. Cross-reference whale net flow and exchange net flow to see whether the spike was a whale or an exchange.
