Exchange net flow is the daily total of coins moving INTO labelled exchange wallets minus coins moving OUT, drawn as one continuous line. Positive (inflow) often signals selling intent — holders moving coins to exchanges to sell; negative (outflow) signals accumulation — coins leaving exchanges into self-custody. It is one of the most-watched holder-behaviour signals. Based only on verified exchange labels, so it updates automatically as new exchanges are labelled.

FAQ about this chart
Common questions about this page+
What does exchange net flow show?
The net amount of coins moving in and out of known exchange wallets each day: total received minus total sent across labelled exchange addresses. A positive value means more coins flowed onto exchanges than left; a negative value means more left than arrived.
How do I read inflow vs outflow?
Net inflow (positive) is traditionally read as bearish — holders move coins to exchanges mainly to sell. Net outflow (negative) is read as bullish — coins leaving exchanges into private wallets suggests holders are accumulating and not planning to sell soon. It is a behavioural signal, not a guarantee.
Which exchanges are included, and what if one is mislabelled?
Only addresses verified with an official exchange label are counted, drawn from the curated label set. Because the chart joins those labels at read-time, newly-verified exchange labels are picked up automatically on the next refresh — no reprocessing needed. Unlabelled exchange wallets are not counted until they are labelled.
