How does staking work on QRL 2.0?

QRL 2.0 is Proof-of-Stake: validators lock up Quanta and take turns proposing and attesting to blocks. In return the protocol pays them rewards, released as EIP-4895 withdrawals. The original Proof-of-Work QRL chain has no validators or staking.

How many validators secure QRL 2.0?

The active validator count is shown in the KPI strip above; the full set with per-validator detail lives on the validators page. More active validators generally means a more decentralised, harder-to-attack network.

How much Quanta is staked?

The total effective balance across active validators is shown above, in Quanta. This is the economic security backing the chain — the more staked, the more expensive an attack becomes.

How concentrated is the stake?

The top-10 concentration figure shows what share of total stake the ten largest validators control. Lower is more decentralised. On a young network with few validators this can be high simply because there aren't many participants yet.

QRL 2.0 is in an early phase with relatively few validators and low issuance. Figures are reported honestly and will scale as the validator set and network mature. A precise APR estimate is on the roadmap.

QRL staking is about who secures the Proof-of-Stake chain — how much is staked, how decentralised it is, and what it yields. Staking ratio: Share of total supply locked in validators. Higher = more of the coin is committed to securing the chain (and earning yield).
Validator-Nakamoto (33%): How many validators it takes to control a third of the stake — the consensus attack threshold. Higher = more decentralised.
Validator APR: Annualized yield a validator earns, net of penalties. Settles to a small positive number with healthy participation.
Withdrawals: Quanta paid out to validators via EIP-4895 — the reward flow leaving the beacon chain.
Top-10 operator share: Share of validators run by the ten largest operators. Every validator stakes the same fixed amount, so a “top stakers” ranking would be meaningless — what matters is operator control, since one withdrawal address can run many validators. Lower is more decentralised; with few operators it is high simply because control is in few hands.
Withdrawal address: The Recipient in the table below — where a validator’s rewards are paid, set in its withdrawal credentials. Each validator pays out to one address, but a single address can serve many validators run by the same operator.
